I have been sitting with this moment for a while now. Turning it over in my hands the way I do with a new skein of yarn before I cast on. Feeling the weight of it. Thinking about what it might become.
And here we are.
Welcome to the brand new Essence of Me.
I won’t pretend this moment isn’t a little bit scary. Building something and putting it out into the world always is. But I keep coming back to the same thing I always come back to when I’m afraid: sit down, pick something up, and start making.
So that’s what I did.
This space is called the Quiet Crafting Corner, and the name says exactly what it is. A corner. Yours. Quiet. A place on the internet that isn’t asking you to hustle or optimize or perform. Just a place to breathe, make something with your hands, and maybe feel a little less alone while you do it.
I built it because I needed it. Because years ago, when the overwhelm got too heavy and someone told me to go home and make something, I did. And something in me loosened. What started as a way to cope became a calling. And the women kept showing up, one by one, until I realized this wasn’t just my corner anymore. It was ours.

A shop full of hand-picked tools, yarns, and kits chosen with actual intention. Nothing I wouldn’t use myself.
And a community of women who understand that making things is not just a hobby. It’s how we rest. It’s how we process. It’s how we find our way back.
